PR & Communications Contractor

Job Summary

Seeking a senior cultural PR practitioner, the part-time PR & Communications Contractor will develop and execute earned media strategies, build media relationships, and produce tailored press materials for Razom Connect's initiatives from July 15 to December 15, 2026, in a remote capacity with occasional NYC-based events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a media strategy focusing on key initiatives like the Ukrainian Cultural Festival and documentary/Oscar campaign
• Identify and pitch compelling stories to editors and journalists across various disciplines related to Ukrainian culture
• Draft and tailor press materials, including pitch letters and press releases, for specific outlets and initiatives

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in arts, culture, or academic PR with a portfolio of feature placements
• Established network of relationships with editors and journalists in the cultural press
• Strong editorial instincts and the ability to identify newsworthy angles
• Excellent writing skills for creating compelling and tailored press materials
• Familiarity with at least one of Connect's discipline areas, such as literary publishing or documentary/film
