PR Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time PR Consultant to work remotely, who will manage earned media placements for hero products, new launches, and thought leadership, aiming for one major placement per month while maintaining relationships with key media contacts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one major earned media placement per month tied to brand narratives and products
• Execute weekly pitching cadence with five personalized pitches to a curated media list
• Manage product sampling and mailers to press and media tastemakers while maintaining an editorial calendar

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of consumer PR experience with a proven earned-media portfolio, preferably in wellness, beauty, or CPG
• Established relationships with tier-1/tier-2 wellness and lifestyle press and podcast hosts
• Proficiency in personalized pitch writing and editorial calendar planning
• Knowledge of FDA/DSHEA claim rules, with the ability to identify disease-claim risks
• Preference for candidates based in LA or NYC with strong media connections in those areas
