Pre-Access Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure seamless patient access, the full-time Pre-Access Specialist will manage insurance verification, authorization, and pre-registration for scheduled clinic visits and office-based procedures while working remotely during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and document insurance verification and benefits using automated tools and insurance carrier websites
• Secure necessary authorizations for scheduled services and accurately record all relevant information
• Organize and prioritize daily work activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks

Required qualifications

• Experience in patient access or healthcare administration
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes and authorization requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or administration preferred
