Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight, the full-time Pre-Award Team Lead will manage a team of Pre-Award professionals to ensure the successful development, review, and submission of grant and contract proposals while delivering exceptional customer service to the research community.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Pre-Award professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of grant and contract proposals, ensuring compliance with sponsor and University requirements
  • Build and maintain partnerships with faculty and stakeholders to support effective proposal development and identify opportunities for process improvement
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in pre-award administration or a related field
  • At least two years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of proposal development and the research administration lifecycle
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
