Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pre-Certification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact insurance companies for pre-authorization requirements
- Act as a liaison between patients, referring physicians, and insurance companies
- Verify receipt of necessary pre-authorization documents
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Background in healthcare preferred
- Experience with eClinicalWorks Practice Management System preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Working knowledge of medical billing and managed care
