Pre-Certification Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Certification Coordinator (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Initiates and facilitates the pre-determination process for insurance
• Contacts insurance companies for benefit verification and pre-certification of procedures
• Maintains daily surgery/procedure schedules and logs of pre-certifications in process

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 3 years of work experience in a medical office setting
• No specific certifications required
• Associate degree preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred
