Pre-Certification Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Certification Coordinator (Remote) - Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiates and facilitates the pre-determination process with insurance companies
• Maintains daily surgery/procedure schedules and communicates with physicians and assistants
• Documents pre-certification processes and maintains logs of all pre-certifications in progress

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
• No specific certification or professional license required
• Associate degree preferred
• Certifications such as CPC or RHIT are a plus
