Pre-Certification Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Certification Coordinator II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Completes pre-certifications for complex services based on therapy and treatment plans
• Verifies insurance eligibility and authorization information for existing pre-certifications
• Collaborates with clinical staff and providers to address add-ons, denials, and peer-to-peer resolutions

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 3 years of experience in Clinical Office, Medical Billing, Health Information Management, or Pre-Certification
• Some college or associate's degree is preferred
• Certifications such as RHIT or CPC are beneficial
• Thorough understanding of insurance terminology and processes
