Pre-Collegiate Instructor

Job Summary

Designing and teaching courses for the Center for Gifted Education's K-12 programs, the part-time hourly Pre-Collegiate Programs Instructor will create course content, implement lessons, and assess student learning while maintaining communication with staff, students, and parents.

Key responsibilities:

• Employ best-practice instructional strategies and differentiate instruction for high-ability students
• Design and submit syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with intended learning outcomes
• Maintain regular communication with program staff, students, and parents regarding course needs and updates

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Subject matter expertise in the course being taught
• Demonstrated ability and content knowledge to teach K-12 high-ability students
• Experience working effectively in dynamic educational settings
