Job Summary
Designing and teaching courses for the Center for Gifted Education's K-12 programs, the part-time hourly Pre-Collegiate Programs Instructor will create course content, implement lessons, and assess student learning while maintaining communication with staff, students, and parents.
Key responsibilities:
- Employ best-practice instructional strategies and differentiate instruction for high-ability students
- Design and submit syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with intended learning outcomes
- Maintain regular communication with program staff, students, and parents regarding course needs and updates
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Subject matter expertise in the course being taught
- Demonstrated ability and content knowledge to teach K-12 high-ability students
- Experience working effectively in dynamic educational settings
