Pre-Foreclosure Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Foreclosure Specialist to manage default servicing tasks and ensure compliance within the pre-foreclosure process.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor loans that are 90+ days delinquent and prepare for foreclosure referral
• Communicate with internal teams, attorney firms, and external vendors throughout the pre-foreclosure process
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and investor regulations while managing the pre-foreclosure pipeline

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in mortgage servicing, default servicing, or pre-foreclosure
• Knowledge of FHA and VA loans, including regulatory requirements
• Understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
• Familiarity with state-specific pre-foreclosure requirements
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
