Pre-Foreclosure Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and driven, the full-time Pre-Foreclosure Specialist II will manage foreclosure referrals, ensure compliance with documentation requirements, and communicate effectively with attorneys and homeowners in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of the foreclosure referral checklist and servicing system updates
• Review daily reports to identify loans eligible for foreclosure and manage the assignment of attorneys
• Collaborate with the Loss Mitigation department to ensure timely processing of loans and attend onsite hearings as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years' experience in pre-foreclosure or a related field
• Thorough knowledge of state pre-foreclosure document requirements
• Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, FHA & VA servicing default requirements
• Experience with State, Federal, and Agency guidelines related to foreclosure and bankruptcy preferred
