Pre Registration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Registration Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining data integrity in pre-registration of patients and verifying/updating demographics and insurance information accurately
• Providing estimates of patient liabilities and collecting payments on identified pre-service liabilities
• Resolving inquiries related to patient accounts and ensuring high call center performance metrics

Required Qualifications:

• One year of post high school business or college coursework preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in customer service role
• Medical Terminology proficiency by exam and specific healthcare experience or education
• AA Degree and six months healthcare experience can also be considered
