Pre-Registration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Registration Specialist to confirm patient information and collect liabilities prior to service.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm and secure accurate registration data, demographic information, and insurance coverage before services
• Communicate patient liability estimates and expectations, and attempt collections on identified liabilities
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a patient-friendly experience

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year of post high school business or college course work preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred
• Medical Terminology proficiency by exam
• One (1) year admitting, billing, or registration experience in a healthcare setting or relevant educational background
