Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Registration Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm relevant patient information and collect on patient liabilities prior to services
• Ensure accurate registration data, demographic information, and insurance coverage are secured
• Communicate patient liability estimates and attempt collections to meet productivity and quality standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• One (1) year of post high school business or college coursework preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred
• Medical Terminology proficiency by exam and one year of admitting, billing, or registration experience in a healthcare setting, or equivalent education
• AA Degree with six months of healthcare experience is acceptable
