Pre-Registration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Registration Specialist who will work with patients to confirm relevant information prior to service.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm patient information and discuss patient liabilities to ensure a positive experience
• Ensure accurate registration data, demographic information, and insurance coverage prior to services
• Communicate patient liability estimates and attempt collections to meet productivity and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year of post high school business or college course work preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred
• Medical Terminology proficiency by exam and one year of relevant experience or education
• Graduate of a health vocational program or AA Degree with six months healthcare experience
