Pre-Sales Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Sales Data Scientist to support insurance clients in leveraging AI-driven data for pricing and underwriting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with prospects and customers to understand their data needs and desired outcomes
• Develop and enhance the proof of concept process to align on requirements, outcomes, and success criteria
• Serve as a technical liaison to actuaries and pricing teams, supporting their integration and use of data in various workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance in data science, actuarial, or pricing analytics roles
• Deep understanding of rating, underwriting, claims, and portfolio management within the insurance sector
• Experience designing and executing retrospective testing studies
• Strong grasp of data science fundamentals and experience with SQL, APIs, and Python
• Experience with traditional actuarial methods and machine learning models for insurance applications
