Pre-Sales Engineer - BAS

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Pre-Sales Engineer - BAS will lead the pre-sales development process for Building Automation System solutions, providing engineering design, cost estimation, and project support across multiple locations in the South Atlantic region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre-sales engineering, design, and estimation during project proposal phases for BAS solutions
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure alignment on project scopes and cost estimates
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to optimize project costs and execution

Required qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in controls sales/operations with HVAC systems and project cost development for BAS
• Ability to work on US restricted projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated computer and analytical skills
• Background in JCI installation operations as an Application Engineer or Installation Sales is preferred
