Job Summary
To support a growing consultancy, the fully remote Pre-Sales Solution Architect will lead technical sales efforts, architect solutions for data platforms and AI/ML implementations, and guide delivery teams while maintaining client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects to identify their needs and qualify fit for service offerings
- Architect solutions by translating client requirements into reference architectures and phased delivery plans
- Manage both the sales quota and delivery targets, ensuring high-quality execution of projects and client engagements
Required qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of experience in data engineering, ML, cloud data platforms, or analytics with hands-on production experience
- Proven track record in a seller-doer role, with experience in pre-sales solution architecture or consulting delivery
- Expertise in Databricks and familiarity with Snowflake and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong ability to scope engagements, write proposals, and present technical solutions to executives and engineers
- Builder mentality with a focus on clear communication and ownership of outcomes in client-facing situations
