Pre-Service Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Service Coordinator responsible for managing referral processes for homecare and related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process incoming requests for homecare, DME/supplies, and pharmacy/infusion services
• Verify benefits coverage and eligibility, and communicate with patients and providers regarding referral status
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, DME, or the medical industry
• Less than 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance
• Passion for improving consumer experiences in healthcare
• Associate's degree or 2 years of healthcare/care coordinator experience preferred
