Pre Service Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Service Specialist who works in a fast-paced call center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and make phone calls as a liaison between patients, payers, and healthcare team members
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, medical necessity, and pre-authorization requirements
• Calculate patient estimates based on scheduled services and assist in rescheduling appointments when necessary

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in pre-registration, scheduling, or financial counseling
• Preferred: Certification as CHAA or CRCR
• Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT codes is preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
