Pre-Services Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time remote Pre-Services Representative will manage insurance verification, pre-authorization documentation, and patient communication regarding coverage and payment responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks while documenting pre-authorization in the billing system
• Contact patients and families to discuss insurance coverage, patient responsibility, and payment issues prior to surgery
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of insurance, demographic, and eligibility information into the billing system

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree is a plus
• Minimum of two years of front office experience in a medical environment, including insurance and scheduling
• Experience with Payor portals, authorization processes, and contract reimbursement
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
