Pre-Services Representative

Job Summary

Determining and verifying insurance coverage, the full-time Pre-Services Representative will manage authorizations, schedule outpatient services, and discuss financial responsibilities with patients in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Input and review patient insurance benefits and update records for accurate billing
• Obtain necessary pre-authorizations and document authorization information within patient accounts
• Communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibilities and collect pre-service payments as needed

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Preferred experience with hospital authorizations and health insurance knowledge
• No prior experience required
