Pre-Verification Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Pre-Verification Specialist will review patient accounts and insurance information prior to claim submission to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement while maintaining productivity standards in support of revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-verification of patient insurance coverage and benefits
• Analyze and resolve claim edits, denials, and rejections
• Utilize EPIC and other revenue cycle systems to manage work queues and documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Minimum of three years of experience working in healthcare, required
• Experience with pre-verification preferred
• Knowledge of insurance rules and medical terminology preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
