Prebill Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle management process, the remote Prebill Specialist will accurately verify prebill information, including patient demographics and payor details, ensuring all claims are correctly prepared prior to coding.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize system tools to locate insurance and patient demographic information
• Accurately enter patient demographics and select appropriate modifiers and payors for transport claims
• Participate in Prebill Huddles to align on processes and achieve daily production and quality goals

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of revenue cycle management experience preferred
• Working knowledge of health insurance verification and major payor groups
• Ability to learn state regulations and payor guidelines
• Experience managing job responsibilities independently in a remote environment
