Precertification Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Precertification Representative will manage authorization requests, interdepartmental scheduling, and patient communications while working remotely within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Request, obtain, and follow up on authorization requests promptly
• Process patient orders and schedule tests or procedures in a courteous manner
• Provide instructions to patients and physician staff regarding authorization and test preparation

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of precertification experience preferred
• Previous call center experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech is a plus
• Must have wired high-speed internet with specified download and upload speeds
