Precertification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a UM Unit Precert Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete precertification, notification, and authorization for patient accounts
• Manage work queues including charge reviews and retrospective authorization requests
• Ensure fiscal responsibility for patients and the organization while adhering to policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an office environment with computer skills
• Good understanding of medical terminology and ability to interpret patient medical information
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively interact with diverse individuals
