Job Summary

A company is looking for a Precertification Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely precertification of medical procedures and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter payer information into databases and distribute for further review
  • Follow up with carriers to obtain precertification numbers and file completed requests
  • Verify benefits for cases and ensure all necessary documentation is uploaded to patient files
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of Insurance Verification experience required; Out of Network experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications and database software
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
