Precertification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a UM Unit Precert Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete precertification, notification, and authorization for patient accounts
• Manage work queues, including charge reviews and retrospective Medicaid authorization requests
• Facilitate fiscal responsibility for patients and the organization

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an office environment
• Proficient in computer skills and literacy
• Good understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
