Precertification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a UM Unit Precert Specialist - PT - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete precertification, notification, and authorization for patient accounts
• Manage work queues, including charge reviews and retrospective Medicaid authorization requests
• Facilitate fiscal responsibility for patients and the organization in accordance with policies

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment with computer skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good understanding of medical terminology and patient medical information
• Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft suite of programs
