Job Summary
Providing essential administrative and documentation support to the Preconstruction Department, the full-time Preconstruction Administrative Assistant will assist with estimating, budgeting, proposal development, and bid coordination across multiple industrial and commercial projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to estimators and preconstruction managers, including maintaining preconstruction documentation
- Assist with bid and proposal preparation by compiling necessary exhibits, narratives, and schedules
- Maintain a comprehensive Preconstruction Calendar to track bid due dates and submission requirements
Required qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with construction software such as estimating platforms, Procore, and Bluebeam is a plus
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven preconstruction environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external vendors
- Experience with data maintenance in estimating and project management systems is preferred
