Job Summary
A company is looking for a Premium Audit Specialist in the Financial Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of insureds' financial records to verify premium accuracy and compliance
- Analyze complex financial statements and resolve discrepancies in policyholder records
- Prepare detailed audit reports and collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate premium calculations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management and Insurance, or related field
- Approximately 6 years of experience in Premium Audit, Underwriting, Accounting, or Finance
- Insurance accounting experience preferred, with progress toward relevant professional designations
- Experience with multi-state rules and classifications, particularly in California
- Familiarity with workers compensation and general liability audits; commercial auto audits are a plus
