Prepress Operator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prepress Operator 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Preflight electronic files and ensure completeness, reporting issues to Project Managers
• Apply traps and adjustments to files for various printing processes while ensuring quality control
• Prepare proofs and verify the accuracy of final data deliverables, including PDFs and TIFFs

Required Qualifications

• High school or college degree with a focus in graphics or equivalent work experience
• One to three years of hands-on experience in the print industry (flexo, offset, screen, dry offset)
• Proficient in graphic design software applications (Illustrator, InDesign, Esko Package, Photoshop)
• Good understanding of digital file formats (PDF, TIFF, EPS) from various operating systems
• Understanding of the offset printing process and its color interactions
