A company is looking for a Prescription Prior Authorization Specialist to ensure patient prescriptions are covered by insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit prior authorizations to insurance companies and verify insurance coverage and prescription formularies
• Address patient concerns regarding authorization processes and maintain accurate documentation of authorizations
• Collaborate with insurance companies, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to resolve authorization issues and ensure patient care

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with personal computers, including word processing and electronic spreadsheets
• Preferably one year or more of experience in office work
