Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prescription Department Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patient chart activity and call-in prescriptions to pharmacies as directed by providers
• Track and manage patient prescription authorizations and verify insurance coverage
• Submit prior authorizations to insurance companies and maintain accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with personal computers, including word processing and electronic spreadsheets
• One year or more of experience in office work is preferred
