President and CEO

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and innovative leader, the full-time remote President and CEO will report to the Board of Directors, providing vision and leadership to drive organizational growth, diversify funding sources, and enhance NICHQ's impact on maternal and child health.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to guide NICHQ's future direction and operational effectiveness
• Lead fundraising efforts to diversify revenue streams and ensure long-term financial sustainability
• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including public officials, funders, and community organizations

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (MD, MPH, PhD, MBA, etc.) in a related field preferred
• Proven experience in strategic fundraising and revenue diversification
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing nonprofit organizations
• Strong financial management skills and competence in budget oversight
• Exceptional relationship-building abilities with a track record of effective partnerships
