Job Summary
To strengthen a prevention-oriented culture within the Office of Refugee Resettlement's care provider network, the full-time Prevention Manager will lead a team focused on compliance, quality improvement, and safety strategies to prevent child abuse and neglect, working remotely for a six-month term with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the prevention team, providing direction and oversight for system-wide improvement activities
- Establish a structured quality planning cycle integrating incident reports, monitoring findings, and performance data
- Direct assessments of provider protocols and practices to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years' experience working with child welfare populations, including congregate care settings
- Master's degree in social work or related field (or bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience)
- At least 5 years' experience working with immigrating children and families
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
