Pricing and Risk Director

Job Summary

Leading the strategic direction for Kin's eastern region, the full-time Pricing and Risk Director will manage a team of state managers, oversee pricing strategies, and drive data and risk decisions to ensure sustainable, profitable growth in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end P&L for the eastern region, focusing on rate strategy and loss ratio targets
• Lead and develop a team of state managers, ensuring high-quality execution across the region
• Define and refine pricing strategies and risk frameworks based on complex data analysis

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in pricing, risk, actuarial, or advanced analytics, with at least 7 years in P&L or regional business ownership
• Proven track record in leading pricing, risk, or analytics functions with accountability for strategy and outcomes
• Experience managing state- or regional-level budgets and achieving financial targets
• Deep expertise in building executive dashboards and risk KPIs for informed decision-making
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and translate compliance into actionable strategies
