Pricing Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading the design and deployment of AI-driven pricing models, the full-time remote Pricing Data Scientist will manage data acquisition, machine learning applications, and pricing experimentation across all merchandise categories to optimize pricing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI-driven pricing models and specialized pricing solutions for various merchandise categories
• Build data acquisition and curation pipelines to support pricing model training and validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pricing opportunities and operationalize insights through controlled experiments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or a related field with 15+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning, focusing on pricing or revenue optimization models
• Experience in pricing data collection and leading large-scale data acquisition or ML projects from research to production
• Proven application of Gen AI and LLMs in production use cases is strongly preferred
• Experience with pricing experimentation, A/B testing, and causal inference is strongly preferred
