Principal Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Accountant responsible for managing domestic and international contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate financial presentation and compliance for internal and external reporting of programs
• Audit financial data and support internal and external audits while documenting procedures and best practices
• Perform financial analyses including reconciliations, project margin analysis, and accounts receivable monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
• 8 years of job-related experience or equivalent
• Government contracting and cost accounting experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• US Citizenship is required
