Principal Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Accountant to lead and coordinate financial processes and provide oversight of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory filings
• Analyze complex accounting issues and recommend solutions to improve performance
• Oversee and ensure the quality of work produced by junior staff while providing technical guidance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Six years of accounting-related experience, including three years in a senior or training capacity
• Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and accounting systems
• Strong business aptitude and analytical skills
• Clean credit history as reported by a credit report
