Principal Accountant - CECL

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Accountant - CECL & SEC Reporting - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare CECL calculation models and processes in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide support for SEC reporting, including preparation and review of financial statements
• Collaborate with auditors and other departments to implement CECL changes and drive process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting or public company settings
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and CECL accounting standards
• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, Workday, and Alteryx is preferred
