Principal Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Actuary to provide technical support for complex actuarial initiatives in health insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Actuarial Services team's success and handle complex actuarial modeling
• Lead and provide consultative support for assigned projects, including rating and pricing initiatives
• Support various departments with financial forecasting, network management, underwriting, and product development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree as required
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
• 5+ years of experience in a related field
• In lieu of an ASA, alternate actuarial credentials may be considered
• In lieu of 5 years of experience, candidates who are Fellows of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) may be considered
