Principal Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Actuary to provide technical support for complex actuarial initiatives in health insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Actuarial Services team and handle complex actuarial modeling
• Lead and provide consultative support for assigned projects while assisting in rating, pricing, and financial forecasting
• Support various departments including Network Management, Underwriting, and Sales and Marketing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree as required
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
• 5+ years of experience in a related field
• Alternate actuarial credentials may be considered in lieu of an ASA
• Fellows of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) may be considered in lieu of 5 years of experience
