Principal AI Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking a highly senior, hands-on Principal AI Advisor for a remote, two-year contract who will establish AI governance frameworks, design scalable AI solutions, and act as a technical consultant to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Establish governance frameworks and guardrails for AI integration across the development lifecycle
• Design and implement AI layers to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Contribute hands-on to the architecture and development of AI-driven solutions

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience as a senior individual contributor at the Principal/Distinguished level
• Recent hands-on experience (3-5+ years) implementing AI tools and solutions
• Experience with RAG workflows (e.g., LangChain or similar frameworks)
• Proven ability to remain hands-on while operating at a strategic level
• Excellent communication skills with a strong consultative approach
