Principal AI Architect

Job Summary

To support government contract work, the full-time remote Principal AI Architect will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing systems, writing production code, integrating large language models, and advising on AI strategy while collaborating with various stakeholders to translate policy needs into secure technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the technical architecture for AI-enabled products and internal tools
• Design and build production-grade full stack applications, ensuring technical quality and security
• Serve as a senior technical lead, translating program and policy needs into technical solutions for clients

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience designing and shipping full stack applications, including front-end and back-end technologies
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based systems in production, including prompt engineering and integration
