Principal AI Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design and delivery of complex multi-domain systems, the full-time remote Principal AI Architect will define technical strategy, architect scalable cloud-native solutions, and mentor engineers while serving as the senior technical authority on cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define technical strategy and lead architectural design across cloud, data, and AI/ML systems
- Architect scalable solutions, including multi-cloud and hybrid strategies, and design data architectures for various workloads
- Partner with leadership and clients to communicate technical concepts and drive performance optimization across deployed systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in technical leadership roles
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong background in microservices, serverless, and event-driven systems
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Hands-on experience designing AI/ML systems for production, including LLMs and MLOps
