Principal AI Developer
Job Summary
Leading the technical direction for AI initiatives, the full-time Principal AI Developer will design scalable architectures for machine learning and generative AI while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver customer-focused solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and architecture roadmap for AI capabilities, including ML model pipelines and generative AI features
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions that enhance customer value
- Communicate technical strategies and progress clearly to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in building intelligent systems or AI-enhanced applications
- 5+ years of experience leading technical direction and mentoring senior engineers
- Production experience with generative AI systems and understanding of ML, data science, and agentic workloads
- Hands-on coding ability and experience with cloud-native data services, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and data engineering tools
