Principal AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal AI Engineer to lead the adoption and integration of AI tools in software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the safe adoption of AI tools and applications across engineering teams
• Architect end-to-end AI solutions and evaluate upcoming AI technologies for safe integration
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate rollouts with engineering leaders and IT

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or related field; advanced ML/AI coursework or certifications preferred
• 8-12 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on applying AI/ML capabilities to developer workflows at scale, or 5-8 years with demonstrated experience
• Technical experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, and DevSecOps tools
• Knowledge of neural networks, machine learning, and data engineering for AI use cases
• Experience in implementing security controls for developer teams
