Job Summary

Leading the architecture for a cloud-native Student Journey Platform, the full-time Principal AI Engineer will oversee technical direction, establish architecture standards, and ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of cloud-native infrastructure and services across the Student Journey Platform
• Establish architecture standards and best practices for engineering teams to follow
• Align platform architecture with business growth needs, ensuring proactive infrastructure decisions

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on architecture ownership
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS preferred) and containerization (Docker)
• Proven ability to set technical direction and influence architectural decisions across teams
• Experience with cloud environments, particularly in autoscaling policy design and resource governance
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming
