Principal AI Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Principal AI Engineer will build foundation models and generative AI tools, mentor engineers, and drive best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance engineering workflows and automate complex tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Build foundation models and generative AI tools alongside a team of technologists
• Design and implement agentic workflows for automating complex engineering tasks
• Establish evaluation and safety measures for agent systems to ensure production readiness

Required Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8+ years of experience in Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields
• Deep programming and software engineering experience with a track record of production-grade code
• Proven technical leadership in complex projects across cross-functional teams
• Strong experience in geometric data modeling and processing
